Well after seeing The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, we went to see the Girl Who Played With Fire. Now as I wrote before, I have read the books and I can tell you, the Fire one drove me up the wall. I was so upset over the events in the book I could hardly stand to read for very long at a time. I knew things would probably turn out okay but everything just kept piling up against our heroine, who is under the huge looming threat of being forced to live in an institution and her life controlled completely by "Big Brother". If any book would scare you about government officials having control to run your life to "take care of you", this series would do the trick. So I went with a lot of anticipation of build up tension while watching this movie.

MOVIE FAN CHAT: 24, LOST AND MORE...
Well Sunshine at last! Great to see the sun again. I know its supposed to rain tonight but at least we have a good day! So back to the fantasy world of tv and movies. 24.....Jack has gone over the edge and doesn't plan to return. Or that is what he says. Is this season the very last or is there one more season before the series ends? It was an exciting show last night and for a minute I thought Iron Man had dropped in to help him but turned out to be Jack with an Iron Mask. I would venture to say the last two shows has seen more killings than I can remember.

MOVIE CHAT: TV ON PAR WITH FILMS?
I am a huge fan of movies - obviously. Movies are the reason I fell in love with this profession in the first place. The way movies effected my life and created memories that will last a lifetime. For almost every time in my life - I can associate a movie with it that will bring back thousands of memories - good and bad. I see movies every chance I get - however - with the schedule I keep, and the cost of movies - I find it harder and harder to make it to the theater as often as I would like - and have found myself instead turning on the good old TV on my short breaks - and I have discovered something....
